    Kids and adults will love this updated version of Marmalade Meatballs. They are perfect whether served as an appetizer or nestled over a mound of buttery polenta or creamy mashed potatoes. Plus, they are just as good made with ground pork, chicken or turkey.

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground chuck (80/20 works well)
    • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce or 4 oil-packed anchovy fillets, minced
    • 2 green onions (white & light green parts), chopped
    • 1 large egg, beaten
    • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • ⅛ teaspoon allspice
    • For the Marmalade Sauce:
    • 3/4 cup orange marmalade
    • 1 tablespoon + 11/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon + 11/2 teaspoons soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (red pepper flakes)
    • Garnish options: Fresh chopped chives, cilantro or parsley
